Norwell Chamber of Commerce Honors 2025 Citizen and Business of the Year
Norwell, MA, April 2, 2025 — The Norwell Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce that Marynel Wahl has been named the 2025 Norwell Citizen of the Year. Additionally, William Raveis Real Estate has been selected as Business of the Year. Both honorees will be celebrated at a special ceremony on Thursday, April 3rd, at Cushing Memorial Hall, 673 Main Street, Norwell, MA from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm.
For nearly 40 years, the Norwell Chamber of Commerce has recognized outstanding individuals and businesses that contribute significantly to the community. Nominations were accepted from January 1st through March 1st, with criteria including a demonstrated commitment to volunteerism, public service, and making a positive impact on the lives of Norwell residents.
Marynel Wahl: Dedicated Community Leader
Marynel Wahl has made a lasting impact on Norwell through her dedication to civic service. She currently serves as Chair of the Norwell Conservation Commission, and Chair of the Open Space and Recreation Implementation team, both are working to preserve and protect the town’s natural resources. She also serves as Chair of the Board of Directors for The Arc of the South Shore, a nonprofit that has been supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, along with their parents and siblings, for more than 74 years. The organization’s mission is to empower people with disabilities to live their best lives through advocacy and services.
“I am truly humbled to be recognized as Norwell’s Citizen of the Year by the Chamber of Commerce. This town and its people mean so much to me, and I have always believed in giving back to the community that has given so much to my family and me. To be included among the incredible individuals who have received this honor before me is both humbling and deeply meaningful,” said Wahl.
Successful Entrepreneur
Beyond her community leadership, Marynel is the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of InfraNet Solutions, a Quincy, MA-based provider of intelligent technology, managed IT, and professional services for businesses, non-profits, and educational institutions. Since co-founding the company in 1998, she has helped InfraNet become a leading technology service and solutions provider. In her dedication to client success has been a driving force behind the company’s reputation for excellence.
In addition to co-founding InfraNet Solutions, in 2021 Wahl also co-founded The Tútus Group, whose mission is to provide cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions for businesses and organizations. Like InfraNet Solutions, Tútus has clients throughout New England and is headquartered in Norwell.
Devoted Single Mother
Marynel is also a proud single mother of three accomplished daughters, all graduates of Norwell High School:
• Melissa Halatsis (Norwell High Class of 2021) graduates this year from Bentley College and will get her Master’s in Business from the School in May of 2026.
• Madison Halatsis (Norwell High Class of 2021) graduates in May from Parsons School of Design and has been selected as one of 100 students to participate in a prestigious Master program at Interior Design in Paris next year.
• Miranda Halatsis (Norwell High Class of 2022) graduates in August from the Culinary Institute of America.
The Norwell Chamber of Commerce invites the community to celebrate Marynel Wahl and William Raveis Real Estate for their outstanding contributions to the town at the awards ceremony on Thursday, April 3rd, at Cushing Memorial Hall, 673 Main Street, Norwell, MA.
